Coconut Restaurant

A Unique Culinary Experience in Amed, Bali

Coconut Restaurant at Santai Hotel Bali has proudly established itself as one of the finest eateries in The Amed area and serves a wide variety of the Indonesian, Balinese and Western food.

The dining area sits underneath an impressive wooden and bamboo structure, built in sheer Balinese tradition. The restaurant opens out onto our private outdoor swimming pool and our lush tropical garden. Look up and admire our elegantly standing coconut trees gently waving with the ocean breeze. And last but not least, you can actually enjoy the peaceful and lovely ocean view while enjoying your favorite food with us. Since Coconut Restaurant is just steps away from the beach...

We happily welcome our in-house guests, other fellow travellers to Amed as well as our local expat community.

Coconut Restaurant at Santai Hotel takes pride to bring some popular Indonesian food into your culinary journey whilst holidaying in Amed, Bali.

Some of our most well known dishes are Beef Rendang (originally from West Sumatra), Pepes Ikan (Steamed Fish in Banana Leaf), Mie Goreng (Fried Noodle), Nasi Goreng (Fried Rice) and Sate Bali (Balinese Satay). We also feature a delicious version of Gado-Gado, a wonderful warm vegetarian salad with lashings of peanut sauce.

Since we are by the ocean, why not try our fish and seafood dishes, all fresh and locally caught. Barracuda is our Chef’s favorite. It’s cooked with the renowned Balinese spice mix called “bumbu”. If you like it hot, remember to ask your Waiter for the equally famous “sambalmatah” (the Balinese version of hot sauce) on the side.

Being far away from home, sometimes all you want for dinner is a good burger or a hardy steak. Our Santai Cheese Burger and our Australian Tenderloin Stead “A La Marko” remain at the top of Western best sellers list. Comfort food “just like home” – whether it’s pizza, pasta, salads or sandwiches – are always present on the menu.

Coconut Restaurant transforms into a Beach Bar from 5 till 7 pm daily, for our "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" Happy Hour. Colorful and comfortable beanbags await you on the beach for some of Amed’s best Sunset Sessions.

Coconut Restaurant is open daily from 7:30 am until 10:30 pm.

All our food and drinks are prepared with safe and filtered water.
